Spec Landing Page for DoorDash

Background: DoorDash is looking to onboard more small, independently owned restaurants to become DoorDash partners. These businesses offer takeout and have a loyal group of customers, but are skeptical of technology and new services.

Objective: Get them to sign up as a partner through the landing page.

Strategy: I wanted the copy to give over a sense that DoorDash “gets” them. Small mom and pop style restaurants that have been around for a while but are at risk of going down with the ship. Phrases like “hometown hero” and “taste of home” will open up the formerly hesitant-to-technology restaurant owner to the idea of partnering. The number 60% immediately jumps out and the simplicity of the process coupled with the 24/7 support is key to boosting both engagement and conversions for this group of consumers.
